Dr. Dawn Young: Dr. Young graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College of the University of Guelph in 1989 and joined the staff of the Manotick Veterinary Hospital in January of 1992. She became a partner in the practice in the summer of 1996. She now combines the management of a busy and growing practice with her great love - veterinary medicine. Dr. Young's special interests include dentistry, internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and surgery. She has been providing key medical and surgical services to the wonderful dogs of the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind since 2000. Dr. Young has two wonderful dogs, Murphy and Rudy.

Dr. Heather Matheson-Rakita: Dr. Matheson-Rakita joined the staff of the ManotickVeterinaryHospital as an associate right out of veterinary college in 1996. She is a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of P.E.I. She and her husband Sam set up permanent residence in Nepean in 1994. They have four children and three kitty cats – Aja, Lola and Pickle . Dr. Matheson-Rakita especially enjoys working with diabetic animals and their owners, with older animals who need pain medication and some T.L.C. to make their old age comfortable, and with young and silly puppies and kittens.

Dr. Kathleen Casey: We were very pleased to have Dr. Casey join our practice in August 2001. She is a 1997 graduate of the Université de Montréal. She is fluent in both French and English. She and her husband Mark have recently had a new addition – their son Sean. Dr. Casey enjoys the challenge of treating animals with difficult medical conditions such as Cushing's Disease (Hyperadrenocorticism) and also enjoys surgery. She has an energetic and lovable Portuguese Water Dog named Stella.

Dr. Jennifer Rossmann: Dr Rossmann joined the practice in June of 2008. She graduated from the University of Guelph in 2007. Dr Rossmann has been a great addition to our team and is well liked by clients and staff. She especially enjoys dentistry and the challenges of internal medicine. Dr. Rossmann and her husband Cameron have two adorable cats, Nikita abd Rideau.

Dr. Annie Seguin: Dr. Seguin graduated from the University of Montreal in 2001. After working for 4 years in Virginia she joined our practice in 2005. She is fluent in French and English. Dr. Seguin enjoys working closely with owners and their pets. She especially enjoys helping those who have acquired a new companion. She lives in the Blackburn Hamlet area with her husband Bernard and their 3 sons Xavier, Alexandre and Gabriel. At present she has one pet – her kitty Figaro.
