NextWelcome to Our Web Site and to Our PracticeThe veterinarians and support staff of the Manotick Veterinary Hospital are pleased to welcome old and new clients to our home on the web. This site is intended to provide information about our hospital and all the things that we do here, to expand the services that are available to our clients, and to bring us into the 21st century. Come in, browse, and see what we have to offer! Our Veterinary ServiceWe are a companion animal practice dealing primarily with dogs and cats (and their people)! All ages, breeds, and sizes are welcome. We offer preventive medicine (including examinations and vaccinations for puppies and kittens, yearly exams and vaccines for older pets, and senior screens for elderly animals), routine spays, neuters and declaws, medical, surgical, and radiology services for sick and injured pets, dental care, in-house blood work, Sunday on-call service, boarding, grooming for pets who cannot be groomed without an anaesthetic or need special care, prescription pet diets, and some pet supplies. We also support the Ottawa Humane Society by honouring their spay-neuter vouchers. Our FacilitiesTwo exam rooms allow several patients to be seen at once. We maintain separate wards for hospitalized and boarding dogs and cats, and we also have an isolation ward for pets with known or suspected contagious disease; this helps prevent the spread of disease within our hospital. A large, bright treatment area accommodates our critical care patients and those pets recovering from surgery. Our surgery suite is glassed on two sides and allows our clients to view surgeries from the waiting room.

Please call ahead if you need any special help getting in to the building yourself or with your pet(s); there is always someone to help even if you forget to do this. We will be glad to provide any assistance necessary. Where to Find UsOur practice is located at 4224 Rideau Valley Drive, in Manotick, Ontario. The nearest major intersections are Prince of Wales Parkway (formerly Highway 16) and Rideau Valley Drive to the northwest of us, and Bankfield Road (Regional Road 8) and Rideau Valley Drive to the southeast of us. We can be found between the facilities of the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind and the Government Garage. Directions are available here. Our HistoryThe Manotick Veterinary Hospital has been a presence in the Manotick community for approximately 16 years and was originally housed in a little house on Main Street. The new building on Rideau Valley Drive was constructed in 1991. Come and see us today!
