Virtual Tour
Reception
Welcome to Manotick Veterinary Hospital. Our receptionists are always ready to greet you with a friendly hello and a smile. Whether you are in for an appointment, to pick up medication or food or just to ask advice, we look forward to taking care of the needs of our clients and their pets.
Waiting Room
Our spacious waiting room gives you lots of space to spread out. This allows shy kitty cats or dogs to not be too intimidated by our more rambunctious fury friends who may be visiting at the same time.
Exam Rooms
We have 4 exam rooms at MVH where our veterinarians can assess your pet and discuss any health care concerns. They are also used by our technicians when pets are admitted or discharged from the hospital.
Treatment Room
Our treatment area is the hub for all activity at our hospital. This is where all in- hospital patients are examined, treated and prepared for surgery or other procedures. It is also where we keep our more critical care patients so that we can more closely monitor their condition.
Radiology
Having a Radiology machine on site is one of the most valuable diagnostic tools for a veterinary hospital. Radiographs (X-rays) are powerful, versatile diagnostic tool that can aid greatly in diagnosing a number of medical problems involving the bones, gastrointestinal tract (stomach and intestines) liver, kidneys, lungs, heart, bladder and much more. At our hospital, we also have a dental x-ray unit that provides us with excellent images of teeth and roots to help identify dental disease that may not be readily apparent.
Laboratory
Manotick Veterinary Hospital’s in-house laboratory helps the medical team develop a complete diagnostic picture for your pet. Our laboratory is equipped to perform a range of tests including biochemical profiles, complete blood counts, electrolyte panels, cytology smears, urinalysis, fecal assays, heartworm tests, Feline Leukemia tests, FIV tests, Giardia Ag as well as other tests.
Surgery
Our modern surgery suite is well equipped to meet the surgical needs of your pet. It has glass walls toward our treatment and reception areas and you can even view your pet’s surgery from our waiting room.
Pharmacy
Our in-house pharmacy gives you the benefit of starting your pet's medication as soon as you get home. We are stocked with a broad spectrum of pharmaceuticals used commonly in veterinary medicine that can help your pet recovery from an illness or surgical procedure.
Wards
In order to provide your pet with the most comfortable stay possible we have four climate controlled wards. This includes a separate ward for our feline friends and an isolation ward for any pets that have a condition that may be contagious to others.
